Web 2.0 101 -- Week 1

There are several ways I can use RSS feeds in my library:

a) I established a PubMed RSS for our institution's authors for my own use. This turns out to be a much more readable list than the e-mail one.
b) A PubMed RSS for McLean authors, using a separate account, might be useful for our patrons.
c) We will consider adding a RSS feed to a news source in our specialty.
d) An RSS feed for the institution news will be handy for visitors.
e) Now I don't have to remember to check out the latest from The Krafty Librarian blog.

I have a Library Committee, and I will ask them at our next meeting what they might like to see.
