Wow! I am so glad I'm taking this course. This week's lesson on Social Bookmarking was an eye-opener. I'd downloaded del.icio.us about a year ago while trying to read an online article, but never took the time to figure out what it was and why I might want it. Now I no longer need to send myself e-mails from work to home and vice versa about websites I need. It is so handy to have the toolbar at the top - I've been using it constantly for our wiki and for Google Reader - and it is only the second day! Speaking of our wiki - my staff is working hard on ours and it is growing every day! We love the calendar and the ease of updating our Policies and Procedures Manual (when we get it all in!)
Personally, I am using del.icio.us as described above. I've seriously explored CiteULike and plan to practice on it and offer a tutorial to our research community. This is a great tool.
